Doorpost Screening and Awards Ceremony This Week

DoorPost Film Project will have a special screening of its top ten finalist films for 2009, followed by the annual awards ceremony.

Very limited seating:

Meaningful works by filmmakers from all over the world — including Nashville — will have a one-time special screening at the Belcourt Theatre. Each of the filmmakers was provided by DoorPost with $30,000 to make their short film.

Awards will be presented to the top three films, as selected by both a film industry jury and online votes — First Place receives a $100,000 cash prize; 2nd Place receives $35,000; third place receives $25,000, and $15,000 for filmmakers choice awards,
