Spotlighting music from classic film and television..
On Sunday November 8th at 6 pm CDT, WMOT-JAZZ FM 89.5 presents “It’s Your Hour” with special guest, Nashville Filmmaker/Screenwriter/Novelist/Manic/Depressive, Scott Crowell.
Some of you may be familiar with Crowell’s indie film work, but now he’s going to dive into the radio arena and put his signature stamp on the airwaves.
Crowell will get one hour on the air to be the DJ and play the jazz of his choice.
What’s he going to play..? Remember the great tough guy movies like Clint Eastwood in “Dirty Harry” and “Bullitt” with Steve McQueen? How about those classic private eye flicks and spy yarns of the 1950s and 60s? And who can forget those great 1970s television cop shows like “Kojak” with Telly Savalas, “Starsky and Hutch” and “Ironside” with Raymond Burr? Then you will love what Scott has in store for you. It’s an hour of great television and movie jazz soundtrack material called, “Cops, Spies, and Private Eyes.”
